HRBDT at the 2017 INTRALaw Workshop on Business and Human Rights

On 2 – 3 October 2017, INTRALaw (International and Transnational Tendencies in Law) of the University of Aarhus, Denmark, organised a workshop on business and human rights.

The workshop was framed around two main subjects: the experience of victims of human rights abuses, and the response of the current international legal system, examining how States, the European Union and International Organisations respond to human rights impacts by transnational corporations and whether direct international legal responsibility of corporations is needed.

Krisztina Huszti-Orban gave a presentation on ‘Shooting the Messenger: Challenges in devising human rights-compliant intermediary liability frameworks’ at this workshop.
