HRBDT Lecture at the University of Wrocław

On 19 April 2018, Dr Krzysztof Garstka gave a lecture at the University of Wrocław on ‘From Cyberpunk to Regulation: Digitised Memories as Personal and Sensitive Data within the EU Data Protection Law’. This lecture was based on his exploratory work on the Human Rights, Big Data and Technology Project, focused on regulation of memory digitisation technology through EU data protection law. More specifically, Krzysztof put the definitions of personal and sensitive data from the General Data Protection Regulation to the test of facing human memories as a new medium of digital information.
