PhD Studentship Opportunity – Computational Analysis of Social Media

Applications have opened for the following funded PhD studentship with the HRBDT Project:

  • Work Stream Four: Studentship on Computational Analysis of Social Media and Other Data to Identify Human Rights Violations and Humanitarian Issues

This funded three-year doctoral studentship will undertake research concerned with developing methods for analysing social media and other textual sources to identify human rights abuses and humanitarian issues as part of Work Stream Four. The studentship will be under the supervision of Dr Chris Fox (Work Stream Director), Professor Udo Kruschwitz (Work Stream Member) and Professor Massimo Poesio (Work Stream Member). The successful candidate will work with their supervisors and the Work Stream Team to develop their precise PhD project.
